DESCRIPTION:The Freed-Hardeman University Honors College\, in coordination with the Undergraduate Office of Admissions\, is hosting our annual Honors Competition. This event is via invitation to high school seniors with a 30 or higher on the ACT (or equivalent SAT or CLT). If you are interested in competing and have not received an invitation\, please email admissions@fhu.edu\, or reach out to your Regional Admissions Director for additional information.\n\nThe Honors Competition has been rescheduled for February 6th.

DESCRIPTION:Join us for Maroon & Gold Day on Presidents’ Day\, Monday\, February 16\, 2026\, and experience what it’s like to be a Lion!\n\nTake this opportunity to get a glimpse into college life at FHU. You and your guests will attend chapel\, tour the common areas of campus with Admissions\, and eat lunch in our Jones Family Dining Hall.  Academics will also host academic focused tours of their college/departments for students and their guests to learn more about their specific offerings.\n\nIn addition to the tours\, visiting students will attend a morning class and participate in an academic activity of their choosing. While visiting students are in class and participating in the academic activities\, their guests will hear from our deans and learn about financial aid and other academic support services available to our students. We will end the day with an interview of some of our current students and a Student Life Fair showcasing many of the campus resources (clubs\, organizations\, teams\, academic areas\, etc.) that are available to our students.\n\nThis event is designed for high school students (along with their parents)\, and college or university students that are considering a transfer. Each high school or college age student will need to register separately for this event and select their preferred academic options for the day.\n\nThis is not your typical college preview day. This is Maroon & Gold Day\, and it is absolutely FREE! Register today. We can’t wait to see you on campus and hope you leave the day having all of your questions answered about Freed-Hardeman University!
