Edinburgh Festival Fringe Trip
FHU Theatre students now have the opportunity to perform at the world’s largest performing arts festival, The Edinburgh Festival Fringe. The Fringe started in 1947 and has since grown to a three-week event with more than 55,000 performances of 3,500 different shows. And in 2023 FHU Theatre was right in the middle of the action!
Over a two-year period, our students developed an original work of theatre. Then in the summer of 2023, we presented that play for multiple performances, toured the city of Edinburgh and the Scottish countryside, watched dozens of plays and musicals. We also spent a day volunteering with the East Killbridge church outside of Glasgow.
Plans to return in 2026 are already underway.
FHU Theatre’s involvement with the Edinburgh Festival Fringe is one more reason to become a part of our theatre community.
