Frequently Asked Questions

What do I need to know?
  • MSYC is located at 206 Youth Camp Loop, Henderson TN 38340.

  • If you are staying at MSYC, you will need to bring bedding and toiletry items (soap, shampoo, towels, etc).

  • For those staying at MSYC, we also are asking you to bring your favorite snacks or sweets to share with others during the retreat. All meals and desserts at meal times will be provided, but we thought having some snacks around for Friday evening and between lectures may be enjoyable. There is no obligation to bring anything.

  • For those staying we also encourage you to bring cards or board games to play together on Friday evening.

  • This is a retreat setting. Feel free to dress casual and expect to be relaxed. We do not plan on recording the sessions and intend this to be a workshop, not a lectureship.

  • You can choose the classes you attend based upon interests and desires.

What do I need to bring to stay at MSYC?

Please pack as if you were going to “youth camp!” You will need bedding, pillow, towel, and toiletries.

Is this a conference for ladies too?

Ladies are welcome to attend, but there are no specific classes for them. We ask all attending to register so we can have a count for the food. We will have designated cabins for ladies wishing to stay with other ladies at MSYC

Are we asked to bring anything for the group?

Please consider bringing a favorite snack or dessert to share with the group. Also we will have game/fellowship time on Friday evening. So please bring cards, dominoes, or board games to enjoy together.
