Freed-Hardeman University, a leader for Christ-centered education, recently selected Creative Dining Services as its hospitality partner to provide its students with fresh, wholesome food options on campus. This partnership will provide further support for their students with healthy on-the-go selections and dynamic menus made from locally sourced ingredients.
With a new state-of-the-art dining facility taking shape, as well as the addition of an on-campus Chick-fil-A®, FHU believes the time is right to further develop and expand the operational capabilities of dining services. Creative Dining will manage all dining operations and catering services across campus beginning in June.
Jason Brashier, FHU CFO and vice president for financial services, looks forward to this new and exciting partnership. “Freed-Hardeman University chose Creative Dining because it respects FHU’s mission, identity and values,” he said. “Dining is a core piece of the student experience, and meals and events are often where our community comes together. Freed-Hardeman plans to retain the entire existing dining team and expand upon the dining services that have been previously provided. With award-winning professional development, the dining team will be trained to serve students, staff and guests with excellence while embracing the mission, vision and core values of Freed-Hardeman University.
The new services will offer variety, attention to detail, flexibility and dining hours intended to accommodate busy schedules. Additionally, an allergen awareness program will be implemented to ensure safety and confidence for students with food allergies and sensitivities.
